Assessment Privacy Notice
In brief: The True Troop Consulting Ltd uses the information submitted through this assessment to administer the diagnostic, calculate and review results, provide course feedback and maintain a course record. Assessment answers are not used for unrelated marketing.

Why we use it
We use this information to deliver and administer the training assessment, provide provisional and manually reviewed feedback, transfer the result into TroopDesk where appropriate, maintain an audit trail and improve teaching quality.
Our lawful basis
Where the diagnostic forms part of your training, processing is necessary to deliver the training arrangement. We also rely on our legitimate interests in administering assessments, protecting record integrity and improving course quality. The required checkbox records that this notice was shown and understood; it is not consent to unrelated marketing.
Where the record is stored
Assessment records are sent to a restricted Google Sheet and backed up through Netlify Forms. Google and Netlify act as technology providers. Their services may involve processing outside the UK; where that occurs, the providers' applicable contractual and data-transfer safeguards apply. Access is limited to Dr Francis Osadare and authorised course administrators who need it for assessment administration.
How long we keep it
Assessment records are retained for course administration and quality assurance for up to 12 months after the relevant course ends, unless a longer period is required to resolve a dispute, meet a legal obligation or respond to a request. Records are then deleted or anonymised.
Automated and manual assessment
The portal calculates an immediate provisional score. Written answers and calculations may then be checked manually before a verified result is released. The provisional result is not treated as a final decision with legal or similarly significant effect.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to particular processing. Contact support@thetruetroop.com. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes materially, a new version date will be shown and future candidates will acknowledge that version before starting.
